Purpose of the job: As member of the Cochrane Sweden team, the Fellow works closely with the director of the centre to support activities. A key function will be to provide support in training and education events.
Background: Cochrane Sweden was launched in May 2017 with the support and guidance of the Nordic Cochrane Centre. It is funded by Skåne University Hospital (mainly thanks to prof. Ingemar Petersson), Region Skåne and Lund University. Cochrane Sweden's staff includes the director of the centre (0.5 FTE) and an administrative assistant (0.5 FTE). In its first months, Cochrane Sweden established a wide national network, took active part in numerous meetings and conferences, and established fruitful collaborations with regional and national institutions. A one-day workshop was held in September 2017, and more events are planned.
In addition, an application submitted by the director of Cochrane Sweden has been funded (50.000 SEK) to organize two one-week courses for PhD students and post-docs. Since February 2018, medical students at Lund University have used Cochrane Interactive Learning as part of their training and evaluation process. This will be complemented with traditional teaching including the involvement of the Cochrane Sweden team.
Job specification: The main task is to take part in the management of courses and workshops, e.g. planning, promoting and teaching at these events. Therefore the person is required to work at the Cochrane Sweden centre in Lund and to travel to different regions of Sweden (remote work is possible to some extent). The position is a part time position, preferably to be combined with a current employment within health care or universities. The person will contribute to further development of the partnership between Cochrane Sweden and relevant institutions, including universities, hospitals, and national agencies and to promote the implementation and development of Cochrane resources and tools in Sweden.

Person specification:
- Experience in the process of preparing a systematic review
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build good working relationships
- Ability to think creatively when faced with new problems
- Fluency in English and Swedish
