The PRISMA 2020 statement, a major update of the 2009 Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses reporting guideline

The new PRISMA 2020 statement was released 29th of March. It is a major update of the 2009 Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses and is a guideline for reporting systematic reviews and is a help to create high quality trusted systematic reviews.

It contains both an update to the PRISMA flowchart, as well as new preferred items to report. You can read all about this in the BMJ article.
