Cochrane Crowd is Cochrane’s collaborative volunteer effort to help categorise and summarise healthcare evidence so that we can make better healthcare decisions. It is a web-based platform with more than 17.000 contributurs so far (2020). It is open for everyone to join, and no previous experience is necessary. If you are new to the tasks related to finding and evaluating evidence in Cochrane Crowd you will be walked through all the steps you need to know to be able to do this with confidence. You can work at your own pace, whenever you want. Just a few minutes a day makes a huge difference. If you want to know more, you can watch this 2 minute video.
Cochrane Task Exchange https://taskexchange.cochrane.org/
Cochrane Task Exchange is a platform developed to connect people who need help with their work within Cochrane, for example with reviews, translations or input from experts or consumers, with people who have the time and expertise to help. There are tasks for every level of expertise, from entry level to very specific tasks and you are also able to post tasks and ask for help yourself. If you want to know more, you can watch this 17 minute video which is primarily aimed at patients and consumers.
Involving People is a free resource for systematic review authors and editors to provide support in getting people involved in the production of your reviews (including Cochrane Consumers: patients, their families and carers, as well as other members of the public; and health care teams). The resource will let you explore best practice and practical suggestions for finding and involving people throughout the review process; including useful resources, guidance documents, interviews about first hand experiences, and links to case studies and examples of good practice.

Cochrane Classmate enables the use of Cochrane Crowd tasks as learning activities. As your students learn, they’ll also be helping Cochrane continue to identify health evidence. Classmate can be used for a variety of learning settings: traditional classroom environments, as distance or virtual learning activities, as part of a workshop or event, as part of a fundraiser, and much more.

The Cochrane International Mobility program provides networking opportunities for people who wish to learn from Cochrane colleagues in different parts of the world. The scheme connects people and placements; facilitating exchanges that enhance international collaboration and sharing of best practice within the Cochrane Community. The program is open to anyone interested in contributing to Cochrane's work and has included student exchange as well as junior and senior researchers. Cochrane Early-Career Professional Group aims to provide its members opportunities to enhance their knowledge, skills, and expertise by providing a platform for international networking with early career professionals or other members in the Cochrane community. We aim to focus on the development of leadership skills for the early career members of the Cochrane community and encourage active involvement of the Early Career Professionals in shaping the mission and vision of the Cochrane community.

The Cochrane Consumer Network is a large and growing community of over 1,750 people in 79 countries across the world. The Cochrane Consumer Network is open to any patients, carers, family members and others who are interested in high-quality health evidence. Cochrane uses the term consumers to represent patients, carers and family members with first-hand experience of a healthcare condition. As a Cochrane consumer, you can play a vital role within Cochrane, providing a non-clinical perspective on the health evidence presented in Cochrane reviews and also be able to help to produce Cochrane Evidence. It is free to join, and is also a way to keep up to date with reliable health evidence from Cochrane.

Cochrane Translate aims to make Cochrane evidence more accessible by translating Cochrane material to reduce the linguistic barrier to global evidence-informed health decisions. Several hundred volunteers have already translated thousands of Cochrane Reviews into their languages.
