Cochrane Sweden are happy to announce an upcoming workshop focusing on GRADE Evidence-to-Decision, and especially the GRADE Adolopment framework for contextualizing guidelines (e.g. adopting or adapting guidelines made by others, or creation of new guidelines).

Cochrane Colloquium: London, 4-6 September 2023 The Cochrane Colloquium in 2023 will be located at the Queen Elizabeth II (QEII) Centre in London from 4th to 6th September 2023, together with Satellite events on 3rd September.

Workshop: Meta-analysis   Cochrane Sweden is pleased to announce that registration for a two day workshop specifically related to interpreting and conducting meta-analysis. The workshop will take place on 10-11th of October 2022 and will aim to be conducted on campus in Lund, Sweden. In case of few registrations or travel restrictions within Europe – we will transform the workshop to be held online instead.  

Cochrane Sweden celebrates its 5th anniversary

A new Cochrane systematic review has examined the interventions available to reduce the transmission of covid-19 in the workplace. More than 13.000 scientific studies were examined and screened, but only one single study met the criteria for inclusion in the review. The Cochrane Review was coordinated by Matteo Bruschettini, researcher at Lund University and Pediatrician at Skåne University Hospital.

How to develop a systematic review protocol: An introduction to Cochrane methodology – 4 to 8 April 2022  We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for a 1-week course on Cochrane methodology from 4-8 April 2022. The course is co-hosted by Cochrane South Africa and Cochrane Sweden and will be delivered online.  

Recently, the Cochrane Review coordinated from Cochrane Sweden was featured in Vetenskap och Hälsa.  "De har gått igenom närmare 14 000 vetenskapliga artiklar: vad säger forskningen om hur restriktioner på arbetsplatserna minskat smittspridningen under Covid-19? Arbetet med den systematiska översikten som genomförs av oberoende Cochrane leds av Matteo Bruschettini vid Lunds universitet."
