The most recent Cochrane Rapid Review was published Thursday afternoon.

Last month Cochrane Sweden was interviewed by Tidningen Curie, published by Vetenskapsrådet, about the Swedish Cochrane Center, what Cochrane aims to achieve and a fair deal about Cochrane's response to Covid-19.

Cochrane Sweden was launched on the 16th of May 2017 and just turned three years old! Today, three years later, the center has established itself in Sweden's healthcare system and is expanding the collaborations with Universities and Högskolor within Sweden. We will continue to further establish Evidence-based Medicine and the Cochrane methodology in Sweden - to have more informed health and treatment-decisions and consequently better health.

The Cochrane Library is now temporarily unrestricted for everyone in every country of the world, providing them access to high-quality, independent evidence to inform health decision-making in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Dear Colleagues, As a result of the continued spread and impact of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) across the world, we wanted to update you with important news and information regarding Cochrane’s response to this global public health emergency.  

Today, a new Cochrane entity, which will focus on tackling medical excess, launches at the annual Preventing Overdiagnosis Conference in Sydney. Cochrane Sustainable Healthcare will advocate and promote the use of evidence to ensure a more sustainable approach to healthcare.

A group of influential researchers, clinicians, regulators, and citizen advocates including our researcher Minna Johansson have written an analysis, which suggests how we can start to build an evidence base for healthcare that is free of commercial influences.

Cochrane is delighted to announce the publication of the new edition of the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions following extensive revision.
